Description
Many large western cities across the world are experiencing the exodus of artists and their studios to the suburbs. Artists, having tilled the inner city soil, are now not able to afford the rent as once neglected areas become gentrified with apartments and fashionable stores, bars and eateries. What can be done to ensure that artists have a more prominent presence in the city?
