Future Vision Creative Painting Sessions at the Sustainable Living Festival

The Sustainable Living Festival showcases a huge range of exhibitors, talks, workshops, art, films and performances celebrating and inspiring sustainable communities.

Most people want a world that is peaceful, sustainable, and just. Yet our culture is dominated with images of status, greed, and violence. How can we achieve the futures that we want if we don't start to articulate them? The Future Visions Quilt seeks to draw together the visions from Australians about what we want our world to be in 20, 50 or even 100 years time.

People are invited to paint, draw, or write their own positive visions onto squares of material, which will be collated and made into the Future Visions Quilt. The quilt will be exhibited to help share these diverse ideas with the community, and to encourage others to formulate their own visions.
