Project partners

The plan developed through the Future Melbourne project will guide the City of Melbourne in its actions for the next decade until 2020 – and beyond.

The Future Melbourne project has many project partners who are contributing to the development of the Future Melbourne plan.

Our project partners include:

the University of Melbourne;
the Australian Conservation Foundation;
the Committee for Melbourne;
the Property Council of Australia (VIC);
the Victorian Council of Social Services and
the RMIT Global Cities Institute.

The University of Melbourne

The University of Melbourne, an integral part of all aspects of the city’s development since its establishment in 1853, is proud to be involved in Future Melbourne.

The University’s involvement in Future Melbourne is knowledge transfer in action. It enables staff and students to engage directly with the city, its enterprises and its people in a process that will benefit from, and add credence to, the University's international reputation for academic excellence.
